

This is, of course, madness, but if that's how Epic wants to spend its money, so be it.īut when a developer takes this Epic deal and disrespects the consumers and fans that generated the buzz to get them on Epic's radar in the first place, this is where I have to draw the line.

So, with that said, I've come to accept that games will go exclusive for money and that developers will jump at the chance to be financed by a billion dollar company like Epic all for the "privilege" of selling their game on their store. Free games and free coupons are too big of a draw for many people.

And I have also come to realize that Epic has made a small following of diehard supporters that cannot be argued or reasoned with. I have come to the realization that the Epic store is here to stay and will do everything in its power to undermine all other PC stores, fracture the market, turn PC gaming into the console wars that made many of us flee to PC, and cheapen the market in all ways.
